HotHouse Theatre is the leading regional theatre company in Australia, located in Albury Wodonga on the border of Victoria and NSW.

Currently in our 15th year of operation, we present an annual subscription season of 6 plus plays in our performance home the Butter Factory Theatre, Wodonga; tour regionally and nationally; operate a drama school and training program for young people; commission Australia's leading playwrights and run the national artistic residency program A Month in the Country. HotHouse Theatre is also committed to providing long term, comprehensive training opportunities for young people from our region. A new initiative in 2011 was the formation of The Studio, allowing 10 young actors, aged between 15 and 25 the opportunity to train and perform with HotHouse Theatre. This program compliments our technical training program, where people receive training along side TAFE accreditation.

HotHouse Theatre is based on Gateway Island, Lincoln Causeway, in Wodonga (between Wodonga, Victoria and Albury, NSW)
It is based at it's performance home, The Butter Factory Theatre, Wodonga a converted ice factory - now a 162 boutique theatre space and studio rehearsal room on the banks of the Murray River.
